Any contribution made by private citizens or businesses in support of Caritas Children is tax deductible provided that the donation is made correctly. Payment must be made by: Bank transfer, bank check, SEPA direct debit mandate, or by debit or credit card at our offices. There is no tax deduction for payments in cash.

We will send you an annual statement of payments for your tax declaration. Only donors with bank accounts in their name can benefit from tax concessions.

PRIVATE CITIZENS

• Can deduct the donation from gross tax for personal income tax purposes (IRPEF), that is 30% of the amount donated, up to a maximum of £30.000 (art. 83,paragraph 1, legislative decree 117/2017 – Third Sector Code)
• Can deduct their donation from their declared income up to 10% of one’s own personal or business income (article 83, paragraph 2, legislative decree 117/2017).

BUSINESSES

• Can deduct up to €30.000 or 2% of their declared business income (art. 14 Legislative Decree 35/2005).
• Can deduct up to 10% of their declared income for a maximum of € 70.000 ( art. 14 D.L. 35/20005).
